
About Marissa
Marissa Douglas is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric feeding disorders and tongue ties. With a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Missouri State University, Marissa combines advanced education with years of hands-on experience to provide personalized care to children facing feeding and oral motor challenges.
Since moving to Florida during her graduate studies, Marissa has dedicated her career to helping children from infancy to adulthood overcome various conditions, including tongue ties, oral motor deficits, selective eating, tube weaning, sensory aversions, avoidant/restrictive food intake, latching difficulties, and transitions to new foods.
Marissa's approach is client-oriented, fun, and engaging. Each session is customized to fit the unique needs and skill levels of her clients and their families, ensuring that therapy is not only effective but also enjoyable. Whether working with infants or older children, Marissa brings warmth, expertise, and enthusiasm to every session.
